Referral Partners

If you are relocating to or from an area outside our service region, we may refer you to a trusted veteran-focused agent in that area. In such cases, we share your contact information and relevant real estate needs with the receiving agent.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Veteran Home Advantage, our clients, or others.

Barrett Financial Group

Veteran Home Advantage originates VA loans and other mortgage products in partnership with Barrett Financial Group, LLC | NMLS #181106, located at 2701 East Insight Way, Suite 150, Chandler, AZ 85286. Barrett Financial Group is licensed in 48 states (not New York).

When you submit a loan inquiry through our website, your information is transmitted to Barrett Financial Group’s systems. Barrett Financial Group operates under its own privacy policy and is subject to federal and state mortgage privacy laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), which governs the collection and use of personal financial information by financial institutions.

You have the right to limit certain sharing of your financial information by Barrett Financial Group. Please refer to Barrett Financial Group’s privacy notice, which will be provided to you as part of any loan application process, for details on your rights regarding your financial information.

GoHighLevel (GHL)

We use GoHighLevel (“GHL”) as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, marketing automation system, and booking/scheduling tool. When you submit a form, book an appointment, or interact with our communications, your information is processed and stored within the GHL platform.

GHL may use your information to facilitate our communications with you, including sending automated follow-up emails, text messages, and appointment reminders on our behalf. GHL operates under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy available at www.gohighlevel.com.

Information stored in GHL includes: your name, email address, phone number, service inquiry type, communication history, and appointment details.

IDX Broker

Our website uses IDX Broker to display real estate listings from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). IDX Broker may set cookies on your device when you use our property search tools and may collect information about your property searches, saved listings, and browsing behavior within the search interface.

If you create an account through the IDX property search portal, IDX Broker collects and processes your account information pursuant to their own privacy policy available at www.idxbroker.com.

MLS listing data displayed on our website is provided for informational purposes and is subject to the terms of use of the applicable MLS organization. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of MLS data.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from California residents: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), personal records (military service information, financial information related to loan inquiries), internet activity (browsing behavior on our website), and geolocation data (approximate location from IP address).

Canadian Privacy Rights (PIPEDA)

Veteran Home Advantage recognizes that some of our clients and contacts may be Canadian residents, including members of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and their families. We are committed to complying with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for Canadian residents.

Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Active client records: Retained for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years to comply with Arizona real estate record-keeping requirements.
  • Lead and inquiry records: Retained for up to 3 years for inactive leads.
  • Email marketing records: Retained until you unsubscribe, plus 1 year for compliance documentation.
  • Website analytics data: Retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (26 months).

When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information from our systems.
